“I didn’t know I was pregnant – I didn’t know. I thought I was getting fatter. I’ve always had a weight problem, and I started dieting – went totally vegan. I was still playing football, raising pigs, that kind of fun stuff and didn’t know I was pregnant. I graduated high school and never even had a clue. I went to a doctor, and they thought I had cancer cause I was putting on weight but not here (points to stomach) - in my legs and in my arms and hands and feet. They took me to this endocrinologists, and I was like 'I’m lactating' and he was like, 'well, you have some hormone issues,' but said, 'she’ll grow out of it, you know.' Like a week later, I had my daughter home alone by myself. Did not know I was pregnant, watching Scooby Doo, dog next to me, out comes a kid. And scared the hell out of me, holy shit. At that poin,t I never really wanted to be a father or a mother for that matter. I’m not stable. I was going to tour Europe. I was not prepared for children by any means and was just very happy just being me...And everybody called me mommy and you’re going to be such a great mom and you’ll start wearing women’s clothes, and they all had this idea of what I was going to be cause I had a kid."
